Merry Christmas:)

Christmas this year was one of my favorites. Megan, Cory and Asher have been here for almost a month and it has been so much fun. Asher is getting so big and I just love him so much. We played games, went to lots of movies, ate way too much food, and just enjoyed being with each other. I am so greatful  for the birth of my Savior and for the perfect life He lived. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. I am forever in debt to Him. I love Christmas and the spirit it brings with it.  Here are lots of pictures!

BUT....

my very very favorite part of Christmas this year was talking to this cute Elder!

I went over to his mom's house and we all got to talk for about an hour and 10 min. It went by waaayyy too fast but it was so fun:) I had butterflys and was so giddy:) haha my family just laughs at me. He is so happy in Costa Rica and he loves his mission. He also still loves me hahaha (it's always good to hear him say that) 

This year was awesome! I loved being home for this break but now I am back to USU to finish my VERY LAST SEMESTER of nursing school!!! Yippeeskippy

I love being home because I get to spend time with my family and friends who I don't see that much. I've been able to play with Jenny lots and I just LOVE it!! Back to the old days of high school and college! 

We went and saw New Year's Eve last night and it was alright. It was just fun being with one of my besties:)

Yesterday was my last day of class! Hooray!! 

Finals are monday & tuesday then I'm donzo for the semester:)

I can't believe I only have ONE semester left of college! So crazy

Elder Ballard

My stake up here in Logan is doing a service project to raise money to build a new Cache Valley food pantry. The food pantry up here is ghetto and can't serve all the people that need help. Yesterday, I went door to door asking people for donations. I felt like a missionary and it was scary!! I respect missionary's so much more now that I felt I have kind of been in their shoes. (even thought I really haven't) haha

Anywho, today Elder Ballard came and spoke to our stake. What an amazing feeling it was to have an apostle of Christ sitting 10 rows ahead of me. I brought my neighbor who is a non-member to the fireside. I asked him what he thought of it after and he said that he felt a sense of unity there. He likes how everyone belongs there. He also said how welcoming our church is compared to the ones he has previously been to. I'm thankful to be a member of this church:)

Elder Ballard spoke on standing on the right hand of the Lord. He said to "anchor your self, and choose today to never cross the line to the left side". The spirit was so strong. It was such a blessing to have him there and it is something I will never forget.
